Southwark have identified 251 women in the borough who between them have had a total of 599 children taken into care.
Southwark is the 41st most deprived Local Authority in the country. In 2015 Southwark had around:

- 500 Looked After Children
- 275 Children subject to a child protection plan

Southwark Pause is made up of 6 team members including Practice Lead, Felicity Reed, three Practitioners and a Coordinator. The team has a range of professional skills and qualifications in psychology, psychotherapy, social work , systemic family therapy, substance misuse and drama therapy.
