Are you an ambitious, creative and influential practitioner who is passionate about reducing the number of children being removed into care, by supporting young women to bring about change in their lives?
We are recruiting a Pause Intervening Earlier Practitioner to work in the Knowsley Practice.
This post is an exciting new role working with younger women from the age of 16 upwards. You would be responsible for implementing a range of interventions and support measures as part of an integrated package of health, therapeutic and social support.
Pause is specifically designed to address the complex needs of women, enable change in their lives, and ultimately reduce the numbers of children being removed into care. You will work systemically in delivering a relationship-based programme where frequency, tenacity and creativity are central.
Pause Practitioners, and the therapeutic relationships they cultivate with the people they work with, are at the heart of Pause’s work. You will have demonstrable skills and a track record of supporting complex and vulnerable people to overcome the trauma and challenges of their lives.
