Pause is working with The National Lottery Community Fund to develop two exciting programmes, building on our existing work across England. We are exploring ways to expand our service offer to Pause Participants who have completed the 18-month Pause programme, and ensuring that the experiences of the Pause Participants are a driving force, at the heart of everything we do. When a woman comes towards the end of the intensive 18-month Pause Programme, she is supported in making a gradual transition to existing services. Pause continues to provide ad-hoc support to women via local practices. Pause ‘Next Steps’ will analyse what works, and considering a package of support which could be offered across the Pause network.
The Participation & Pause ‘Next Steps’ Implementation Manager will ensure both projects are delivered in a timely and effective way. This post will sit in the Practice and Learning Team at Pause, reporting to the Knowledge and Evaluation Lead. You will have a background in a field relevant to Pause’s work, and be keen to use your experience to make a demonstrable change. You will have experience of project management and developing services, the experience of delivering participant-led projects in the statutory or third sector. You will have delivered programmes across multiple locations with multiple stakeholders, and therefore able to work in a fast paced environment with competing demands.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to gather and interrogate data – and to adapt projects accordingly, will be deadline-focused, with a no-nonsense, ‘get things done’ approach
