Scoping local need - Pause – Creating Space for Change

We have completed scoping exercises in over 60 local authorities, assessing the local scale and pattern of repeated removals of children into care. Our scoping exercises are designed to provide meaningful insight and inform local decision-making. They typically include:

Analysis of children’s social care data to identify the number of women that have experienced repeat removals, and the total number of children involved
In-depth case studies exploring the experiences of up to three women, examining key contributing factors
High-level modelling of the costs that could be avoided by delivering the Pause Programme
A comprehensive report and presentation of findings to inform your next steps
